Just WOW!!  An Amazing City!!

The first place I visited was the September 11 Memorial.  And towering about the Memorial is the new Freedom Tower.

St. Paul's Chapel.jpg

This is St. Paul's Chapel.  It survived the attacks on 9/11 and became the headquarters for rescue workers to rest during the harrowing days.  It is also where President George Washington worshipped when NYC served as the capital of the new United States.

Trinity Church.jpg

The picture above is Trinity Church and the church to the right is St. Patrick's Cathedral.  These are two famous churches in NYC.

CENTRAL PARK

Funny story: As a girl born and raised in the southern United States, ants and bugs are a part of life when sitting in the grass.  It was an absolute delight to sit in the grass in Central Park and not worry about bugs!!
